Interactive Touch Portfolio
Retail banking to go digital.
It is the trend for banks to provide an interactive experience and ensure their branches meet the needs of the 21st century client.
In November 2013 Standard Chartered Hong Kong renovated their branch in Central and transformed it into a “digital branch” full of interactive technology – widescreen TV wall broadcasting news and market information, interactive touch-screen displays, iPads and other smart devices providing the means for more efficient transactions and better banking experience.
onActivity was involved in part of the interactive setup, namely, the Interactive Wall which consists of 3 huge touch-screens. Customers can touch on the digital posters and videos to view the bank’s corporate information. They can also access banking services or obtain rewards information by touching the credit cards on the screens.
This innovative and user-friendly program was made by 3D development software, which offered an optimal platform for the bank and its customers to interact through technology, and provides customers with convenient, efficient, and environmentally-friendly services.
Interactive media technology holds out a wide possibility of on-demand access to content anytime, anywhere, as well as interactive user feedback and creative participation. With this innovative technology, banks are able to engage customers in many new and interesting ways.
