Digital Advertising System provides a huge network based platform for transport corporations to manage advertising schedule. Since 2008, OnActivity has been the technology mastermind behind the Hong Kong MTR digital advertising system, responsible for creating and implementing various digital ads for the city’s largest transport operator. The most noteworthy projects executed over the years include the Digital Escalator Crown DEC), Digital Panel (DP), and Digital Motion (DM), generating huge revenue for MTR and great ROI for its advertisers.

We have also developed an advanced messaging system known as the Train Service Information Network for Hong Kong MTR, to display instant message in station map mode with dynamic station service disruption station status. Hundreds of Service Information Panels are installed in all MTR stations.
Placed in front of entrance gates in the concourse area, the panels provide safety and promotion information under normal situations, but in case of an incident that could affect train service, station controllers have the ability to send out ad-hoc pre-defined or custom made screen messages to the affected stations. A pre-defined station route map also indicates the information graphically such that busy passengers can get first hand service information at a glance of the screen.
